Dash

Dash

Dash is an action you can take on your turn to move farther than normal.

  • Taking the Dash action grants extra movement for the current turn equal to your Speed (after applying any modifiers).
  • Example: with a Speed of 30 feet, Dashing gives 30 extra feet, for up to 60 feet of movement that turn.
  • Any change to your Speed applies to this extra movement as well. If your Speed is increased or reduced before you Dash (for example, by a spell or feature that lowers it to 15 feet), the bonus is based on that adjusted Speed.
  • The extra movement lasts only until the end of the current turn; it does not carry over.
  • You can take the Dash action more than once on a turn only if a feature lets you take it as a Bonus Action or grants an extra action.
