# Scene 1 (Grubfoot and Djeera in the Library at Druskenvald Manor) Grubfoot and Djeera told their story to the unnatural cat (Wisp) from the library Grubfoot talked about their recent activties here in Druskenvald Djeera told about their history, their backstory and how her blood formed the cure for the plague in Darrowvile Wisp seemed less impressed by Djeera, as if he already knows her story He has taken a book from the library that had a title directly referencing the events in her backstory Djeera tried to grab the book but Wisp didn't allow them, saying that her version of the story is merely one perspective and to know all of it at once would be a spoiler. He also had the new story by Grubfoot written down magically in a new book He then whisked the two away so he could talk with the rest in a less crowded room (so that everyone might tell their story, play their role) # Scene 2 (Xalli at the Children's Bedroom in Druskenvald Manor) Xalli wakes up from their short nap, was it short? Time as a construct seemed unstable Luther was nowhere to be found as well as the Doll Xalli checked out the painting he remembered having to escape, it was now filled with the image of a children's toy Xalli moved to the hallway, quickly spotting the entire hallway covered in blood As she moved towards the bathroom where the blood came from she was scared from behind by The Crooked Man, a ghostly entity swinging around saying that "They couldn't live with the guilt". Xalli checked out the bathroom and quickly the door closed on her She then found herself stuck in the blood covered bathroom, the stench of it making her feel disorientated She tried to get out but couldn't because the door was completely locked She then heard a sound coming from inside the walls She checked it out and had an uncomfortable encounter with a biting Weasel # Scene 3 (Grubfoot and Djeera on the Second Floor at Druskenvald Manor) Grubfoot and Djeera being transported outside the library looked around on what to do now Then they heard a sound coming from below, a scream for help of a familiar cat like voice They decided to look for it and came quickly to the bathroom Grubfoot tried the door but could not open it, they then unlocked it with their thieves tool They rescued Xalli from the bathroom, told them about what had happened in the bathroom in previous session and they all tried to go upstairs, where the rest of the party would be They then spotted Luther, but this wasn't Luther as they knew it, it was a version of him without any teeth and a long crooked smile. It growled at them seemingly ready to attack them at a moments notice Xalli didn't have any of it and felt the protection of their ancestry coming to help her, the spirital presence of Ichtaca, her step-uncle and elder was there to swiftly protect her as Xalli called upon a Holy Word and decimated the creature. This fake Luther exploded in paints of his skin tone and visage, covering the ground with load of paint Grubfoot grabbed an old antique vase and grabbed some of the paint for their project They all then moved upstairs # Scene 4 (Grubfoot, Djeera and Xalli on the Second Floor at Druskenvald Manor) The group decided not to go to the library directly, as Xalli didn't know the Second Floor they just opened a door The group entered a Trophy Room The trophy room was covered with animal trophies stuffed in unnatural shaped and poses, even the colors of these trophies seemed off The group quickly spotted that there was a trap door leading to the attic that could be opened up They decided against directly confronting whatever was at the attic At that moment the trophy room started to make a blaring bestial noise, all the animal trophies started to make sound and they felt a psychic presence Djeera was hurt by this, thought not much Grubfoot went straight to the stuffed bear and cut its belly open, causing a female spirit to leave its body in a haunting bestial sound. The spirit left a Silver Pin up the nose of the bear as it disapeared This solved the issue at hand and Xalli started to rummage the place until they found another weasel jumping at them The weasel was taken care of and the pin was retrieved by Xalli. # Scene 5 (Grubfoot, Djeera and Xalli go to the library) The group went back to the library The rest of the party at the Library were gone Djeera asks about why the others are gone Wisp says that time runs a bit different in this house Djeera remarks that it is not unnatural for people to disappear in a moments notice Wisp asks Djeera if she has figured out yet why Djeera has some ideas but does not reveal any Xalli meets the unnatural cat and it finally introduces itself properly as Wisp Xalli asks about Wisp's story and through that conversation the following is revealed Wisp is an ancient being before the time of Phillip Druskenvald The house was build on top of his ritual site He has negativity towards Vessla Browntooth and her Weasels His voice is not his own He used to live as a house cat for the families here, most recently the Jenkins Family He has negativity towards Shaq the dog He mentions being stuck in a cycle Xalli is being challenged by Wisp on his story, on where his magic comes from Xalli reveals that it came from an artifact found but he no longer has this artifact with him Wisp offers to be Xalli's patreon on which Xalli accepts that offer Wisp puts their name underneath Xalli's personal story a book crafted from Xalli herself as the cat uses its elongated arms to reach within Xalli Wisp then flips to the Author note on Xalli's live story and writes their own name under it Xalli is now in a Dark Bargain with Wisp, for that Wisp is his warlock patron The group asks some more questions and heads out # Scene 6 (Grubfoot, Djeera and Xalli go to the baby room) The group enters th elast unexplored room on the floor It is a baby room, they see a baby spirit sleeping as well as a cradle with 4 stuffed dolls, a Blue Bear, a bunny with antlers and wings, a round crow and a black goat Xalli tries to pick up the blue bear but gets attacked by the stuffed animals The stuffed animals come to live and attack the party The party is able to bring them down They lick their wounds Session Ends

D&D Session Report The session begins with Djeera approaching the estate. Along the way, she observes several weasels moving toward the building. These creatures are notable for having human teeth, indicating an unnatural origin. Upon arrival, the exterior of the estate is found to be damaged by fire. The flames appear blue, suggesting a magical cause. Despite the burn damage, the wood is wet At the entrance, Djeera meets some other Grubfoot (riding the dog Shaq) and Amergin, who is in rat form via wildshape. Amergin warns the group about the dangers inside the house. He explains that the paintings are dangerous and can trap people, mentions being chased by an elemental, confirms the presence of the Weasel King, and warns that a cat inside the house is not what it seems. The group enters the main hall, which is heavily damaged. The walls are lined with portraits of the Lockwood family, including Petunia, Sallie, and Arthur Lockwood, shown in various compositions. A blank white painting is also present. It reflects light despite there being no visible light source. Multiple empty paintings are found throughout the hall, suggesting a recurring magical mechanic. grubfoot takes a blanc paintin in his bag. Amergin explains that a barrier exists somewhere in the estate, which can only be broken using six specific items: GEM, KEY, CUP, DOLL, BEAR, PIN. Meanwhile, Grimm, Liora, and Claus are in the kitchen, where Grimm was attacked by a living rug that attempted to strangle him. Grimm nearly lost consciousness but survives and lights a lantern. The group then regroups in the hall. They proceed to the first floor, where they encounter a large clock. A ghost briefly appears from the clock and disappears. Fey weasels then emerge and consume the ghost. Combat begins. Grimm is taken down in a single attack. The group ultimately defeats the weasels. Inside the clock, the group finds a golden pocket watch with the inscription: “Remember the third.” The group continues down a hallway and finds paintings of the Patrini family: Joseph, Gail, and their son Francis Patrini. Francis strongly resembles Old Rusty, Empty paintings are also present here. The group enters a child’s bedroom, where they find Xalli and Luther in a deep, unresponsive sleep. Djeera takes a DOLL, and Claus takes a CUP from Xalli. Claus casts Identify on the doll. During the ritual, noises are heard under Luther’s bed, but nothing is found. The doll is identified as a magical item required to break the barrier and contains a calm, chaotic good spirit. Liora communicates with the doll The doll explains that Xalli and Luther drove away a monster that had been hiding under the bed. Claus tests a blank painting by pressing a toy against it. The toy disappears and appears within the painting, confirming that paintings can absorb objects. Claus searches a closet and finds a bag covered in eyes. The doll indicates that the monster is inside the bag. Claus touches it and becomes attuned to it. The item is identified as a Bag of Holding. Claus leaves a note for Luther explaining the group’s plans and informing him that they took the DOLL, CUP, and bag. Amergin speaks with Shaq, who provides important information: The group must kill the hag The cat is not trustworthy The Druskenvalds have been taken to the attic The group then enters another room where they encounter the Weasel King, Filthy Jasper. Several weasels are lying on a bed, covering a human figure that appears to be experiencing a nightmare. A journal labeled “PD” is found on a desk. Instead of fighting, the group offers teeth to the Weasel King. The offering is accepted, and a conversation begins. The Weasel King references a barbershop and implies that the weasels have ambitions of world domination. A spirit is also present under a blanket in the room. Grubfoot opens the journal, and the initials PD are identified as Philip Druskenvald. Claus stores the journal in his Bag of Holding. After leaving the room, Grimm exits last. Liora and Claus briefly check a bathroom but leave quickly due to a strong odor. Shortly after, Djeera’s tarot card begins to glow. She hears the words: “Blood, the blood rises.” Djeera, Grubfoot, and Shaq enter the bathroom. The door shuts behind them. Grubfoot hides. The bathtub begins filling with blood. Djeera attempts to turn off the faucet, but it has no effect. A living yellow duck appears in the tub. Djeera picks it up and gains access to the spell Animal Messenger. The duck is named Goopy. Grubfoot eventually manages to open the door, and blood floods out of the room in waves. The group cleans themselves afterward. They proceed to the next floor and enter a new room, which appears to be a library. Inside lies a cat. The cat speaks with a man’s voice and says: “Tell me a tale!”

Party: Amergin, Claus Amergin and Claus visit the village bonfire, where whole families gather - children run around, people dance and sing. People met at the bonfire: Wester Murdoch - well-groomed, with his children and wife. Sister Rain - travels around a lot and worships the Patient Lady. Wears a necklace with a blossoming sunflower representing the Patient Lady (capturing light and positivity). Gaston Doray - a little disheveled with paint on his hands and face. Drew a sketch of the train with the Vagrant, the frogman conductor. Had a dream about the frog as a demon riding an eternal horse. "Heard screams, fire." Some say he is blessed by the Patient Lady to receive these visions. Uses drugs to make his dreams more vivid. Jeremiah Stover - offered work at the farms southwest of the village. The bonfire is a ritual for recollecting lost memories - "Sometimes when you travel you feel not so much of yourself and we use this sort of ritual of the bonfire as to say we are part of the village." New arrivals ("strangers") seem to have a loss of memory. While discussing demons and pacts, Claus's tarot card practically glows as if triggered. Rumors of lights coming from deep in the Wickermoor woods. The Soulfire Stoker - the spirit from the train that put souls into the engine - emerges from the woods and attacks. Everyone runs. The creature has a 5-foot aura dealing damage at the end of its turn.
