Party: Amergin, Luther, Xalli, Djeera The party met in the courtyard and encountered a strange half-woman, half-spirit figure they recognized as someone from the train. Her name is Shaelia, Princess of Berovina. Her physical half wears a ball gown; her spirit half wears a suit of armor. After being given a gift of cheese, her spirit half becomes corporeal. Shaelia travels with the party for the rest of the day. The party visits the Manor, whose deed was given to Luther. Something very odd is about it beyond being old and crumbling - something magical, enchanted, or haunted has happened here. They find a broken statue and a guest journal in the foyer under a fallen chandelier. Exploring further, they encounter ghostly figures that appear out of the walls and attack. The party barely survives the encounter but defeats the ghosts.

Party: Luther, Claus Luther encountered Claus just outside Wickermoore and the two entered the village together. They stopped at the local inn, shared a meal, and gathered information. Next door they found a small shop and spoke with Mr. Tolliver, who offered them a job: collect an unpaid debt from the town pharmacy. They went to the pharmacy to confront the debtor, Morgan. Morgan appeared extremely nervous and frightened but eventually handed over the gold. After paying, Morgan sniffed a potion that calmed his nerves. They returned the gold to Mr. Tolliver. While making their way through town, they were suddenly attacked by a deranged man known as Old Rusty, wielding a greataxe. They subdued him without killing him. Believing Morgan's calming potion might help, they brought Old Rusty to the pharmacy, where Morgan calmed him the same way. They brought Old Rusty to the town constable and sold the greataxe. At the Mayor's Office they met the mayor's wife. Luther received an unexpected reward: a house in town along with the official deed. The first house on the left when entering from the east. The property is said to possess unusual magical properties - if someone wishes for something inside the house, the item may appear. The magic may not be without consequences.

Party: Amergin, Xalli Amergin woke up and met Xalli, and the two started exploring the town. They outran the danger that had haunted them on the road, arriving at the Green Queen Inn - a cold, eerie place where locals kept to themselves and smiled with unsettling hollow cheer. That night, dreams of living inside the old manor clawed at minds, and Xalli awoke outside in a gazebo feeling a strange curse: anything touched threatened to crumble. Locations visited: Trading Post - Baltus Tolliver (Maltus in some accounts), a man who smokes a decorative red pipe. Seemingly only cares about money. Has lots of items for sale at exorbitant prices (apparently normal pricing). Barber Shop - Randal Graham (Randle in some accounts), a handsome blonde man with a neatly trimmed beard. Very clean shop, no hair in sight, fresh smelling air. Offered a free haircut but seemed more interested in cutting into the party than cutting hair. Schoolhouse - One-room school with everything a teacher would need. Teacher Phineas Trout (Philius Trout in some accounts), a spectacled young man with an unimposing figure, struggling through Common. The history books say the village has been here as long as Mr. Druskenveld has been. Phineas can prepare history books. He came from the region of Astramar. He shows a map of Druskenveld and points out that they are in Wickermoore Hollow.

Party: Amergin, Daisy, Djeera, Kara, Misza, Tsundoku The party woke up near a forest in the middle of Druskenvald after the Ghostlight Express's demise. Djeera is the first to wake and checks on the others. Kara proposes heading toward the nearby village. The group arrives at Wickermoore - the dark, desolate streets carry a heavy ambience. At the centre of the plaza they are attacked by a pack of dire wolves. After a long fight the group triumphantly defeats the wolves without major inconveniences (except for a goat they couldn't save). Amergin examines runes on the tree under where the goat had been held. They are greeted by the town's mayor, who talks about the village's traditions and advises them to visit The Green Queen, the local inn. Tsundoku refuses to submit to money and greed and sleeps outside. Djeera and Daisy room together; Kara, Amergin, and Misza room together. The dreams under the crooked moon are eerie and thrilling.

A brass phonograph is discovered - scratched, a shadowy figure, a strong powerful presence. Philip says it is a memory. Endless food is found in the dining car. A Songstress spirit moves on once the phonograph is played. A new ghost appears in the car: a prisoner with a ball and chain who eats cheese, inflates like a balloon, floats, pops, and drifts away. Djeera receives an Arcane Crystal. Amergin finds Goggles of the Night (darkvision goggles). Items discovered in a Letter D chest: Djeera gets a Ring, Noora gets Silver Coins, Traffle gets Clothes. A Ring of Fire is found on top of a chest in the luggage car - previously snatched off someone; animals died in the fire. The Circus Car is discovered: bloody, flame-burned area, a sausage rock, a blasting arcana door. The Vagrant ghost opens the door for the party. The Iron Car: a reinforced car with a fiery smell and a huge gas furnace - custom-built, powered by spirits and ghosts ("Soul Fipsht"). If the train stops, no souls remain to carry it. Anyone on the train can be turned into fuel. Cheesy stench comes from the furnace. After debate about tricking the Daydreamer with the turd rock, Amergin hands him the rock. The Daydreamer floats toward what is now known to be the train's furnace. The train speeds up, rockets forward, shakes, then suddenly halts - ejecting everyone into darkness. The Ghostlight Express has crashed.

Party: The Better Team - Luther, Amergin, Xalli, Bronze Luther returned to the passenger car, finding Amergin the human, Xalli the tabaxi, and Bronze the dwarf. They silently formed "The Better Team." The party is attacked by a stinky cheese-smelling Corpse Wisp and dispatches it. They venture through the cars toward the sleeping car, meeting the Daydreamer. On their way back they meet Adela: Amergin is given the Tower, Bronze is given the Fool, and Xalli is given the Lovers. After resting in the sleeping cars, they meet a spirit named SweetHeart who cries for her lover - who was supposed to be dead with her but is not on the train. Venturing past the sleeping car, the group finds the mail room and meets the Mariner. Amergin uses Druidcraft to bring forth the smell of the sea, which makes the Mariner happy and he seemingly passes on. The Vagrant calls to the party that the train suddenly goes faster. After finding a letter from SweetHeart's lover, they return to her and help her move on as well.

Party: We Like Trains - My Arm, Claus, Djeera, Tsundoku, Luther Five travelers found themselves waking up in the Ghostlight Express - a train taking them to the afterlife, their last visage of death still haunting their memories. As they wake and explore the Passenger Car they meet each other. The Ghostlight Express moves through a greenish Shroud visible from the windows.Some characters see lights or moving shadows moving through the Shroud outside.The Passenger Car is filled with ghostly passengers lingering on their seats - identified by Claus as Geists.Claus finds a book called Geists and how to Catch them.The window is broken by a mysterious force and the Phantom Trainhopper appears.The Phantom Trainhopper turns 2 Geists into Specters.The group engages in battle against them.Claus gives the book Geists and how to Catch them to Djeera.During the fight Luther gets severely weakened in Strength, almost collapsing.My Arm dies during the fight from a critical hit as his life is drained from him.The party defeats the Phantom Trainhopper; the Specters disappear with him.All that remains of My Arm is their 100 weightless wedges of cheese.Luther eats one of the wedges and returns to full Strength. Different party members take different amounts of the wedges.The party meets The Vagrant in the Dining Car. When asked where the train is heading, the answer is: "The Afterlife."Tsundoku accidentally scares The Vagrant.The party discovers some Geists are much more approachable, like The Daydreamer.In the Lounge Car the party meets the Druskenvalds, who share a great deal of information. The Druskenvalds travel between the mortal realms and their own realm of Druskenvald often. Some souls on the train are used to fuel the train itself.Adela Druskenvald gives a tarot reading to each remaining party member.The characters retire to the Sleeper Car.
